Dusk by the day

Yellowish orange light shimmers the sky
Somber twilight, far and faint, closes the day
A little kid, sitting at the bay
Watching a vessel that goes far away

Did not you see the sky was blue?
Painted a memory of young me and you
As I remember what my father has told
The world and us are getting old

While the spring was full of cheer and glee
But time flies and it never lies
As green leaves slowly turn brown
The wind has blown and they have fallen to the ground

It’s the dusk that comes by the day
And the dark soon encloses all spaces
An old man living with full of grace
I saw today, wrapped all of his beautiful days

Salam,
